Since every Vidar-related site reports on national regatta’s these days, WNN fell out of its “niche market”. The market on rowing news is severely oversupplied with the coming of websites such as the
cowstreet and D.R.O.wning. Not withstanding these sites are highly overrated and the quality of the news is not tho write to home about, the time has come to explore new markets. This, and the increasing internationalisation of the society forced us to report on the National championships in English.
The translation of the news-feeds absorbs a lot of time since nobody of the editorial staff speaks or writes English properly. News reports will therefore be published later than initially planned. In order to speed up this process, ost is teaching Tim Engels
